Is it possible to stop the opioid epidemic? Leading public health, law enforcement, and clinical experts discuss the national opioid epidemic from a multidisciplinary perspective – from its causes to what it means for our country’s future.

Speakers include:

  • Dr. Carlos del Rio (Chair of the Dept of Global Health at Rollins School of Public Health);
  • Dr. Rita Noonan (Chief, Health Systems & Trauma Systems Branch, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention
  • Jack Killorin (Director, Atlanta-Carolinas High Intensity Drug-Trafficking Area);
  • Dr. Tracey Vettese (Associate Professor of Medicine, Emory School of Medicine).
